Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Cribly, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Cribly is a conversational assistant that helps you record and recall information about your home — entities, documents, photos, and maintenance tasks. Features and behavior may change as the product evolves.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Cribly. You are responsible for the activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. Sign-in is handled through Clerk using Google or Apple identity.

You retain ownership of the content you provide — home records, notes, documents, and photos. You grant Cribly the limited rights needed to store, process, transmit, and display your content for the purpose of operating the service on your behalf, including sending content to the third-party AI providers described in our Privacy Policy.

Do not use Cribly to:

• Upload content you do not have the right to share.
• Attempt to extract data about other users, abuse the service, or interfere with its operation.
• Use the service for unlawful purposes.
• Reverse engineer, resell, or rebrand the service without written permission.

Cribly relies on large language models and other AI services to generate responses, classify documents, and produce entity images. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. Do not rely on it for safety- critical, legal, medical, or financial decisions. Verify anything important against the original source.

Some features may require a paid subscription. Pricing, billing intervals, and refund policies will be presented at the point of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled.

If you obtained Cribly through the Apple App Store, you also agree to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Apple EULA”), which applies to your use of the iOS app in addition to these Terms. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and the Apple EULA, the Apple EULA controls solely with respect to the iOS app.

• These Terms are between you and Cribly only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the iOS app or its content.
• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the iOS app.
• If the iOS app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any); Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the iOS app.
• Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the iOS app, including product liability, consumer protection, or intellectual property claims.
• You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and upon your acceptance of these Terms Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.

You may delete your account at any time from Settings; deletion is immediate and irreversible. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that are inactive for an extended period.

Cribly is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cribly will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, or data, arising out of your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or US $50.

We may update these Terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
